Veterinary Consent

Why do I need Veterinary Consent?

Therapeutic Canine Massage is not a substitute for veterinary care and advice but can be an effective complimentary treatment.

Under the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966 it is a requirement that all therapists have Veterinary Consent before treating your dog. The Veterinary Consent is important as this will provide information about the dog's condition, past treatments and any medication being administered, all of which are important when providing Canine Massage.

After your dog has been treated, your Vet will be provided with feedback about the treatment provided.

If your dog has had, or is due, a vaccination, please let me know as treatment is not usually undertaken within two weeks of an inoculation.

Where can I get a Veterinary Consent Form?

Please click the link below to download the form. This must be completed by your Vet before I can provide your dog with any massage treatment.
